In order for 2B Cars Ltd to asist in repairing your vehicle under warranty , there is a whole list of procedures to follow :
  • Diagnostics for each customer complaint : the process will not start without a series of tests and a multitude of equipments used and also a good technician with acces to a bunch of informations such as technical bulletins from multiple brands – this is called diagnostic process. All this process if required in order to ensure that warranty issuer is informed of the cause of issue + to be able to fix your vehicle correctly & first time . As warranty covers multiple items, for each customer complaint we will run a diagnostic. Each diagnostic requires time and also a senior technician working on vehicle , therefore it’s chargeable. CUSTOMERS are paying this cost . For transparency, prices start from £120+vat /h , depending on the issues experienced . So we will charge a min of £120+vat each time we are required to use our expertise to provide a report to Warranty – for example first complaint is that engine light is on , second complaint it is that noise from suspension – this customer will have 2x £120+vat for diagnostic charges as they are 2 faults indicated . A visual health check / inspection maintenance it is still treated like a diagnostic report
  • Claim raised with Warranty – After all informations are complete and accurate for our dealer expert technicians, those are put in a technician write-up and then sent to Warranty and reviewed by an engineer – process takes from moment when we email warranty a min of 48h .
  • ⁠Warranty gets in touch with us regarding claim – in some instances they will require additional informations or testing & process gets back to no2 point above .
  • ⁠Engineers review the claim and decide the cover level .
  • ⁠2B Cars fit parts as per policy agreement & after we confirm fix we will be in touch to arrange collection.

Nota bene :  let’s clear some things here.

   Warranty from a new vehicle it’s different from an used Warranty. All policies from used warranties providers have limitations and 2B Cars Ltd does not have any control of what is covered and what not – only Warranty can tell us what is covered and what not. Diagnostic charges are customers liability and we charge them for time , resources and informations required to be able to asist you. We don’t make money from diagnostic charges, we barely cover the costing of diagnostic machines , subscriptions and electricity used for finding the fault. On top of all those , we got training courses that we take , periodical inspections and other additional costing that comes with running a workshop.

   Will customer have to pay any costs except diagnostic – in some cases , warranty will cover partially the repair cost / if this happens we will inform customer before we fix the vehicle so they can make an informed decision.

   Will I be able to collect car and use it while claim it’s being made : in case the vehicle it’s safe to drive and will not create additional damage to vehicle , yes , however to speed the process with warranty we advise customers to leave the vehicle with us for all the claim period . They will be stored securely in our yard under 24/7 CCTV monitoring!

   Will I get a courtesy vehicle from 2B Cars – we are not offering courtesy vehicles by default to all Warranty customers unless the repair time is over 8h ( book repair time ) at a charge of £50/ day , in line with T&C from your warranty policy . Warranty will not cover costs of courtesy vehicle unless the repair time is over 8h.
2B Cars Ltd charges – we have a contract with Warranty and Rac Approved Garage network therefore they get preferential rates that does not apply to you, as a customer . Our rates / hour starts from £120+ vat / h for our regular customers , we offer same price to you aswell. In this price we offer a customer care service over multiple major workshops & main dealers in Sheffield .

   Will 2B Cars Ltd be in touch with updates – yes , our service team will be able to inform you of key details of your claim, however calling us frequently will not help as we are also dealing with our regular customers , contractors and parts suppliers so please be patient.

   Rude and disrespectful treatment towards any team member of 2B Cars ltd staff will automatically result in claim stopped in our workshop and vehicle having to be removed immediately from our premises in the condition in wich it is , at customers cost . We will not tolerate abuse as we are all human beings with feelings. We offer respect and integrity and we require same treatment.
